I am in the process of firing up the OpenLDAP services on my Imail systems
and I am running into the problem of incomplete data. I have used the sync
button and on one system I used the init button but I still do not get the
LDAP database populated. I am using the Softerra LDAP browser and am
connecting fine and I can see test users that I add. One issue that we have
been programmaticly adding users for the past 5 years and most are set to
hide from information services. If I uncheck the hide from info services box
the user still does not get added to the LDAP database.
What do I need to do to get all the existing users on each system added to
the LDAP database? New users add just fine.
