FWIW, I spoke to Ipswitch a little earlier, and they indicated that they view Imail as their core product, and intend to continue selling Imail. I specifically asked whether we would be able to buy Imail - not a service agreement for an exisiting installation, but a license to use Imail, as a brand new installation - as a standalone product, without having to buy ICS, and they stated that this would be the case.
This *would* be encouraging.
