I don't think there's been too many "fixes" in the Declude updates; mostly new or enhanced features. I don't know as I recall any vulnerability issues.


You'll also need your anti-virus renewals. This can range from $0 for ClamAV
to $50 for F-Prot. AVG and Mcafee fall in the middle price-wise.



Declude uses the desktop AV scanner, not a "server" scanner. For many of us, the e-mail server is just one additional desktop license, which is usually a minimal cost.
