Interesting story. I was helping a friend of mine troubleshoot an Exchange
problem. Emails delivered to his Blackberry (an Exchange forward) and his
desktop (Outlook 2002 and/or 2003). However, after a few hours, they'd
magically delete from Outlook.

As a debugging test, I forwarded to my IMail server instead of the
Blackberry (and from there to the Blackberry - [EMAIL PROTECTED]@!!! won't forward
to two addresses!).

He was absolutely THRILLED! The Blackberry quit getting spam! My
SpamAssassin was killing 99% of the spam and the Blackberry became far more
useful.

Until/If the mystery deletes are fixed (probably already are - we changed
the POP3 password), he can check his mail on Webmail and see what's there
that's no longer in Outlook.

Long story short (Oops, too late!) filtering for Spam before delivery to a
hand-held device is a wonderful thing to do.
