You can limit message size at the domain level and mailbox size at the user level. I set the max message size at the domain level to keep people from sending really large files and stressing the server. Anything more than 3 Megs should be sent in another manner IMHO.

I wonder how large the email is? We have made it so our email server will typically not DL anything larger than 3 Megs. I made an exception for a couple of users, only under much protest!

Hi,

Some of our users encountering an issue when want to download the messages to Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook. Below is the error message :

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'strmal.thestar.com.my', Server: 'strmal.thestar.com.my', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '+OK 9002 octets', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

It seems that those users that encounter this error is when they try to download quite a big email messages from the main folder.

We are using IMail v8.12.

Any help...

Thank you.

Regards,

Zul
