I really can't say for sure what they are thinking, but I wouldn't let
myself be led down the path of assuming they may be sympathetic simply
because they are reading what is posted here. It is only natural for
someone, even if that someone is a company, to wonder and watch what others
think about them. However, it is entirely another thing for them to care
about what others think about them.

I do know there has been no real relenting on the part of Ipswitch since
this all started, and the hope building ploy that was pulled last weekend
further enforces what appears to be them drawing a line in the sand. It
really was nothing more than a semi-failed attempt at a cooling off period.
Some bought into it, but most didn't. I don't think Ipswitch got what they
expected out of it.

I keep going back to my initial interaction with Ipswitch. I found them
then to be pompous then and I have not seen anything to convince me
otherwise. To the contrary, what has been happening serves only to
strengthen my opinions and beliefs.

Whatever they are thinking, they sure seem to believe they are doing the
right thing. I sure wish I had a dime for every company that bit the dust
due to the suits thinking they were doing the right thing.
