Mike, I hear what you're saying, but part of the problem with this "call us for prices" trick that Ipswitch is pulling is that they are effectively saying that they will give out ad hoc prices for Imail depending on who calls and when. This is a ludicrous way to run a reputable business, as others have pointed out.
The way to fight obfuscation is with clarity and sharing knowledge; the best way to do that is if admins share with each other the information that they get from Ipswitch. This list is the best forum in which admins can share what they're being told, publically - and, quite aside from that, allows the dissent to be concentrated in one place, which reveals its extent. This list thus has a part to play in this story, as I see it.
