What I would really like to do is find a tool that can read the IMail spam logs and generate a text list of IP addresses that have failed the test count and were deleted. Then I could use that list to block the most repeated IP addresses at the firewall which would cut down on the disk writes and deletes and hopefully and cut down on defrag intervals and more. It's painfully obvious that doing this by hand is a losing battle.
While searching the archives I did find a really nice tool that was created by Curt Turner that will analyze the IMail spam logs and report how many matches were found on the different DNSBL that we are using. That tool is very useful to find which DNSBL list are the most effective. I guess I am trying to say that I searched and searched trying to solve this issue for myself before asking for help. I am fully aware that this can be done with Declude, but for right now I would rather not spend that much money for what I provide our clients for free.
