This is standard behavior for a Windows update, however the directories should be deleted.  When they are not deleted properly, they leave this garbage behind, and I have seen the permissions screwed so that you have to take ownership of the directories before deletion.  Could of course be something else, and if you are really concerned, you could try googling for the file names.
