What relay settings are you forcing?

Could that user not be authenticating?

Subject: [IMail Forum] Outgoing mail being caught as SPAM

I have a user on my network here that her outgoing mail (if it looks like SPAM) is being caught in the SPAM filter and not going out.

This is a one user issue only.

eg.  For a test, if she sends an email to anybody outside with the subject 'viagra', with some junk words like 'nigeria' and 'html' in the body, it gets caught in the SPAM scanner.  I can send this type of email from my station, or anyone else's , and it goes out no problem.

Any idea why the scanner would be checking this person's outgoing mail?

We use Imail 8.05.  All users use Outlook Express, with the IP of the mail server as the Outgoing mail server.  We have nothing unusual or added on to the SPAM scanning.  I have confirmed her settings as the same as everyone elses.

Thanks,

TN
