Probably because there are no A records for ob.northsails.com. There is a MX record for that domain, but that is an incorrect configuration.

 

If ob.northsails.com is an MX for northsails.com, then you need to have an A record for ob.northsails.com and an MX record for the domain pointing to ob.northsales.com.

 

You do not create an MX record for the server itself.

 

MX is for routing, not for Identifying. There is no DNS record to identify the server.
