yes. 10 seconds per msg, as a rough rule, to a wide range of recipients domains.
Wow, we'd be dead in the water if it took that long. Our list manager delivers 10-20 per second, or 100-200 in the 10-second interval you mention.
but that's not with one SMTP session. It's with many SMTP sessions in parallel. and I bet your list is one msg body to all recipients, not a different msg body to each recipient.
