I don't have any metrics but there are better solutions for list servers, like mailman (unix) and a lot cheapper than ICS. You would be buying a lot of package for just one feature.
IMail's listserv has always been one of its weakest components. I have fought on and off with it for five or six years. I finally moved the mailing list I moderate over to a friend whose running a Mailman server. At some point, if we make the move to a *nix solution, I'll probably start running one as well. The IMail listserv goes nuts over duplicates, bad addresses and is, in my opinion, really convoluted to setup and maintain.
