To turn off Win2K's DNS cacheing open up the services and disable "DNS
Client" service. This service does NOT perform DNS lookups, it is the
DNS cache. I have been running with it turned off on several computers
and I am still able to resolve DNS, but I never have to do an 'ipconfig
/flushdns' anymore.

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMail 7.07 And Multiple Remote Gateways

I'm running IMail 7.07 and have two Postfix/IMGate servers running on
it.
At the moment I have one of them set up in IMail to deliver all remote
mail.
For the purposes of redundancy, I'd like to set up a fallback. Does
7.07 support multiple remote gateways?

If not, then how about giving the two Postfix boxes a common CNAME and
round-robining in the DNS? I realize this one would require turning off
Win2k's DNS caching (something I haven't figured out how to do yet, mind
you).
