This is slightly
off-topic, but it's an ongoing issue in our organization. While we don't
have a large volume of incoming/outgoing messages on a daily basis (~15,000), we
do keep copies of everything. Using The Bat! as a POP email client
for this account, we peruse spam for false positives and monitor employee email
for policy violations. The issue that we have is that this process takes
up quite a few resources on the PC where the email client is installed (not to
mention time, but that's another problem!).
Can any of you who
are doing this type of thing share with me your experience or at least how you
handle copying / archiving your company email?
