I agree, and it's also preposterous and offensive to assume that he was killed by anti-spam activists; I doubt the police think so. Far more likely is an mob-related hit, coming out of a failed partnership or what-have-you, and the perp may (purposely) never be caught, leaving him free to hammer-murder people who haven't done anything we find deserving. Read some recent articles on doing business in Russia.
