The correct command for building on Red Hat Linux is
make lrh
./drivers mbox imap nntp pop3 mh mx mbx tenex mtx mmdf unix news phile dummy
make[3]: execvp: ./drivers: Permission denied
You did something that changed the file protections of the executable
shell scripts so that they are no longer executable. "drivers" is one of
these.
This can be caused by the umask being set to a non-standard value;
normally it should be 022. Try adding -p in your tar command
make[3]: Leaving directory
`/home/mayur/tp/imap-2006.DEV.SNAP-0604201745/c-client'
As you are still a novice, I strongly recommend that you use the
distribution version (imap-2004g) and not the imap-2006 development
version. imap-2006 is still a development version, for experts only.
