Has anyone managed to succesfully compile imapd on AIX5.3 with pam
enabled?

I have tried with imap-2002e and the latest development snap
imap-2006.DEV.SNAP-0607202337 I was unable to get 2004g to compile without
SSL.

I have an entry for imap in pam.conf (standard that comes with AIX) and am
using gcc4 one of IBM's packages of it. My standard compile options are

make ga4 SSLTYPE=none

to which I try adding PASSWDTYPE=pam or pmb

When compiled without the PASSWDTYPE I can login ok, compiled with either
pam or pmb, I get a binary that I can't use to login.

Only clue I have is in the myriad of

warning: pointer targets in assignment differ in signedness
warning: pointer targets in passing argument differ

is

osdep.c: In function 'checkpw':
osdep.c:148: warning: assignment from incompatible pointer type

Which may or may not hold some significance.

Any success stories and pointers would be much appreciated, thanks.
