Hi Mark

I quite agree with what you said. It does depend on what I want. And right now my wants aren't that many! The most important thing right now is performance. I don't really relish having to learn a new software and changing ALL of my user account scripts to get it to work. Plus procmail and webmail and who knows what else.

So other than native quota support, UW IMAP seems the better choice, esp w/ mix. My only concern w/ UW IMAP is what types of problems I would run into if I have to put it into production w/in the next couple of months since it is so new. On the flip side, it seems that Cyrus is really hardware intensive and so if I decide to go w/ that I don't know if I'd have performance issues, esp w/ 1GB mailboxes and thousands of messages. I really liked the fact that I could modify the UW code easily (and procmail) and get it to look elsewhere for the inboxes.

decisions decions!
