The sysinbox() function is the location of the traditional UNIX format mail spool, and generally should not be changed unless you are changing the traditional UNIX mail spool.

A mix format INBOX is always a directory named INBOX in the user's home directory. This is completely independent of anything with sysinbox().

So, you do not need to do anything to env_unix.c.

To create a mix-format INBOX, using the command
        mailutil create #driver.mix/INBOX
while setuid'd to the desired user.
