Last night I installed imap-2006k.DEV.SNAP-0708161241, after killing every imapd/ipop3d process. Initial tests showed no problems but this morning no one could access their (MBX) Inbox.

This is on a Solaris 9 (sparc) system. imap-2006h works without problems.

Another Solaris system, also upgraded to 2006k.DEV.SNAP-0708161241, also had problems. However, in that system every folder is still in UNIX format, not MBX or MIX. The following is in the logs:

On the server that I reported earlier, we still deliver mail to /var/mail/user
(Unix format) and let the MBX driver move the messages to the user's INBOX. It might be in that process that the failure happens.

I will run more tests on a separate system to try to reproduce and debug.
