Since running 2006h I noticed that appends to a user's Sent mail folder
take a considerably longer time (3-5 seconds) and result in an imapd
process chewing up to 50% CPU during the append process. Previous
versions, 2006c1 and 2006e.DEV.SNAP-0701052134 did not exhibit this
behavior. For reference the Sent folder in question is in Unix format (as opposed to mbx or mix) and a relatively modest size at 148MBytes. Previous experience with Sent folders that were >500MBytes were a minimal delay for updates (<1-2 seconds) and no appreciable CPU load. Is there anything significantly different in the way Unix formatted folders are updated/appended in versions later than 2006e.DEV.SNAP-0701052134? Thanks, --
