That was the tip I needed to make progress, thanks. For the benefit of anyone following behind me, if all you want is mailutil with Maildir support, don't bother with the full uw-imap distribution, it's easier to work with pine which comes with mailutil. 1. Get a copy of the latest pine source: http://www.washington.edu/pine/getpine/unix.html 2. Get the Maildir patch for pine: http://staff.washington.edu/chappa/pine/info/maildir.html 3. Apply the patch (patch -p 1 < maildir.patch) to the pine source. 4. `build [lrh]` the pine source. 5. The mailutil binary with Maildir support can be found in 'bin/'. > > Beyond that bit of information, you're on your own. mbox format sucks, > but maildir sucks worse. Personally I believe they suck equally, however in this case Maildir gives me what mbox can't with an identical amount of suckage. -- Kind Regards, __________________________________________________ Mike Peachey, IT Tel: +44 114 281 2655 Fax: +44 114 281 2951 Jennic Ltd, Furnival Street, Sheffield, S1 4QT, UK Comp Reg No: 3191371 - Registered In England http://www.jennic.com __________________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Imap-uw mailing list Imap-uw@u.washington.edu http://mailman2.u.washington.edu/mailman/listinfo/imap-uw
