The server at imap.andrew.cmu.edu only offers KERBEROS_V4 and GSSAPI. That's correct. Our local site policy doesn't offer DIGEST-MD5---but that isn't what we're talking about. We're talking about a mandatory-to-implement mechanism, and Cyrus IMAP (through Cyrus SASL) implements DIGEST-MD5. If you're interested in testing, I can easily enable DIGEST-MD5 on a development server for you. Larry
