Hello,
I have a few questions that stem from the same occurence.
I seem to have installed imapd-220b just fine, it is listening on ports
143 and 993 and i can am able to make a connecton over the port. The
problem is for example lest say a user is using outlook express and wants
to download their imap folders, the entire directory structure from "/"
starts coming up.
I tried setting restrictMailbox to -1, but the problem is still
persistent. Im not running imapd in inetd as root, instead im runnign
it as a non privleged user, not sure if thats an issue there or not.
Basically if anyone could shed some light on my ignorance about how to
have only the users mail dirs show up, that would be awsome.
Another thing is that im a little confused about the best way to change
the sysInbox option. i would like it set to /var/mail/$username, so if i
were to do this would substituing in "/var/mail" for MAILSPOOL be
sufficient. Thanks you very much for your time.
