Since 8-bit headers are not allowed in RFC 2822, messages with 8-bit
headers are not inside the scope of RFC 2822 or for that matter with
IMAP.

Thus, what you do with such messages is entirely up to you.  You can not,
however, re-inject them back into the Internet mail infrastructure.
