Way too much. To tell the truth it's not the first time that I hear of bad performance using SSD (as crazy as it sounds...), but I still think it's a software issue. If you're familiar with MySQL, maybe you can try profiling it while it's running, to see where the slowdown is. Also, you can try using a different database or, after the creation of a temporary directory to store the CSV files, adding the -c /path/to/empty/dir/ argument to the command line (files are parsed, the result stored in the CSV files and only at the end loaded into the SQL database).
