I’m running Mac OS 10.9.2, Python 2.7.2. I run ez_setup.py as root and it seems to work (0.6c11 installed).
But when I run setup.py as root I get the error 'cc' failed with exit status 1. I seem to remember something about Mac OS moving to a different compiler? Older emails in the list about this error pointed to just running the installer this way… python ./setup.py install …but no luck with that either.
