I'm running the amavisd-new and clamav. My max_server setting is 15.
I have never seen uncompress just hanging around. Kill them and see if they
return. Just scanning outbound at the moment. Testing inbound with a single
domain. About 5000 per hour average.
My server is hardly taxed.
