This is a role for a solidly experienced Oracle XML Gateway technical
developer - not just someone who knows a bit about it.
The Oracle XML Gateway is a component of Oracle Applications that enables
the Oracle Apps to send data to between Apps but more importantly to other
systems. In operation, the Oracle XML Gateway is analogous to EDI in that
the data organized into specific formats (Maps) based on the type of data to
be sent. Specifically, knowledge of transactions and mappings and map
changes within this gateway.

Job Description / Responsibilities:
The Lead Certification Test Engineer is a seasoned QA tester, primarily
responsible for testing, writing test cases, building test data, and
troubleshooting defects. This individual will leverage their knowledge of
industry best practices and KP infrastructure to streamline testing and
determine appropriate positive and negative test cases and desired results.
As needed, this individual may assist developers with troubleshooting and be
called upon to assist other testers on critical deliverables. These systems
include IBM Message Broker, Microsoft BizTalk Server and Mainframe MQ
programs.
As a Lead Certification Test Engineer, you will be required to:
* Perform Certification (QA) testing for Local and National initiatives;
* Communicate effectively with the Development Leads, internal managers,
business, project management and other Kaiser Permanente-IT teams to review
project documentation and determine testing needs;
* Create Testing Dashboards to communicate project status and include
metrics for continued process improvements;
* Use your testing experience to report & resolve defects in Quality Center.
* Work independently and work with your peers when guidance is required.
* Report open issues and ensure that sufficient documentation is available
to solve technical problems;
* Provide Test Summary documentation to communicate risk assessments and
provide input so that a recommendation on the quality of the system can be
made by your management;
* Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
* Participate in internal design reviews
* Contribute to production readiness/hand-off review before go-live
