Position*:* *Data Analyst*** Location: Richardson, TX** Duration: 6 Months *Must also have the following experience:** *Batch Invoices - 1 year Data Warehousing - 2 years Billing - 2 years Data Modeling - 2 years Unix - 2 years SQL - 3 years Data Network Transport - 3 years Personal Computer Compat - 3 years Account Analysis - 3 years Remedy Help Desk - 1 year *Responsibilities: * Works with the business analysts to define and document data requirements as the foundation for database design, data extraction, analysis or cleansing. Determines and documents data mapping rules for movement of data between applications or for population of new databases. Supports data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouse and data marts. Creates and sustains processes, tools, and on-going support structures that enable reuse and efficiency. Investigates and resolves data issues across platforms and applications, including discrepancies of definition, format and function. Creates and populates meta-data into repositories. May create data models, including robust data definitions, which may be entity-relationship-attribute models, star, or dimensional models. May also create data flow diagrams and process models and integrates models across functional areas and platforms. Works with DBA's to transition log *Qualifications: * Responsible for audit and analysis of invoices and production issues. Position would be responsible for determining detailed audit procedures and implementation of procedures and business reporting. Applicant should be familiar with wireless products and billing. Applicant should have strong experience with report development, maintenance, and analysis, auditing and problem research and resolution. Applicant should have strong communication skills with a higth degree of attention to detail.
