Basic Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
* College degree in an IS related discipline
* BS or BA in Computer Science preferred
EXPERIENCE:
* Microsoft SharePoint MOSS 2007 production & administration
experience
o Troubleshooting
o Monitoring
o Routine operations to ensure availability and reliability
o Perform patches and hotfixes
* Development of policies, SOPs and associated documents.
* In-depth knowledge of IT Industry.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
* Knowledge in areas:
o IT methodologies.
o ITIL or other IT Service Management methodologies.
o Project management methodologies, such as RUP.
o Six Sigma and/or LEAN
o IT systems and applications.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem solving.
* Part of emergency on-call rotation.
Summary
The SharePoint Operations Level 3 Support candidate is
primarily responsible for handling 3rd level engineering support of the
day-to-day application maintenance for the SharePoint service on the
Intranet. This role will also be responsible for implementing all major
changes into the live production environment, troubleshooting infrastructure
and end user issues, ensure health of environment, as well as, metrics and
operational excellence.
