Below are the details.* Title: Engineer Project Status: 3 Months Type: contract Location: MIDDLETOWN, NJ Job#138 *Project Description:* (What project will the contractor be working on?) The contractor would work on CDN (Content Distribution Network). The product name is ICDS. *Job Description:* (What will the contractor do on that project?) Responsible for systems engineering area as it relates to the new features needed for CDN and their impacts or requirements on network (IP), performance, security and other key service elements. The contractor would author end to end technical requirements driving development, vendor selections, etc. The requirements are end to end and would cover how the service works technically, the different impacted areas (vendor or development areas), dependencies, performance, security implications, etc. Specific features can lead to emphasis on network, performance, security, multicast, etc. Tradeoff analysis might be needed if various technical options present themselves or if near vs long term options should be considered. The contractor might need to help with Proof of Concept/Trial (for new technologies). Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important. This is a great opportunity for organized, motivated and self directed individuals who can lead or work quickly and effectively across large teams.
