Yes, I did. The imap server isn't reporting a connection being made. Nor does netstat, but it goes by pretty quickly. I guess I could try getting iptables to log it.

I also tried getting the IMAP server listening on 127.0.0.1 to see if the default configuration would work. Same error.

I'm suspicious because the logging is not generating a log file. I wonder if it's even getting far enough to try.

Run the test.php script in imp.

And you should NOT be using IMAP authentication if using IMP. It makes much more sense to use IMP application authentication instead.
