Just a thought on using Ubuntu 10.10 -- support for this version ceases
in mid 2012, just around the corner. Ubuntu 10.04 Server is supported
to mid 2015.
This is not just an academic issue. We crashed our outdated Ubuntu
server on Amazon trying to upgrade some packages because no reliable
package repositories were being maintained.

Rob

Hello-
I started a wiki page on installing OpenMRS on Amazon's EC2 service. The
page is at
https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Installing+OpenMRS+on+Amazon+EC2
If you have experience with OpenMRS on AWS, would you review the page? In
particular, it could use more details about privacy and performance
considerations.
I used a community image named ami-cca25ea5, "Ubuntu 10.10 ready for
OpenMRS". Does anyone know who created it?
Regards-
Janet
