Funny, I just asked this question this morning myself... I think that it might 
not be too difficult, but don't know of anyone yet who has done it. Stephen 
Lorenz built an XML export module for I2B2 which might be modified. I also 
don't think that you need to license to operate a CDA bridge. However, you 
probably need to pay to get the full specification. It would depend on which 
type of transactions you really wanted to cover as I imagine some are publicly 
available.
