Hello My People & Dear Colleagues, Warm greetings and happy new year to everyone. I just joined the forum as an OpenMRS enthusiast and would need your assistance and counsel in the following areas: 1. I noticed that everyone has an EMR in the 'marketplace'. Different organizations are doing their own thing as far as EMR for health is concerned. However OpenMRS gives us a advantage of being open source so that people can customize it to their country settings. I am from one of Africa's resource constrained settings and am thinking of writing a proposal to my government for the rollout the customization and use of OpenMRS in my country for HIV/AIDS/TB/Malaria Patient Management and Monitoring(PMM). Would it be possible? Am thinking of using it to eventually gather aggregate level data from PMM data that would supplement the DHIS (also an open source aggregate level data software.
2. Kindly provide me a link where I can download the latest version of the OpenMRS software for customization and use. 3. Has the HL7 platform for all EMRs to "communicate" with each other been finalized yet? Many thanks.
