Hi Rafal, Congrats on getting the official 1.0 release of this module out the door!
I wanted to point out a couple things of note: Rafal originally started working on the Metadata Sharing module during Google Summer of Code 2010; and he kept working at it during his academic year until he got the original alpha release out. Many implementations put that alpha version into production, and it has become a fundamental module that a lot of implementations rely on. And since that introduction to us, Rafal has gone on to be a mentor in last year's GSoC, and now to be a core OpenMRS developer. It's a great GSoC success story (one of many!), and one of the reasons we've been thrilled to participate in the Google Summer of Code program for years. Now that Rafal has done the 1.0 release, we're committing to preserving compatibility for packages exported via the module as best we can. Plus we've added the ability to convert concepts between their 1.6 and 1.7/1.8 data models. While we've been really excited to see efforts like the Form Bank<https://wiki.openmrs.org/x/VokaAQ>, they have suffered because exports have been brittle, and required specific combinations of OpenMRS and MDS module versions.
