It is no longer usual to tag individual objects with "source". The source will be obvious from the importing account *and* the changeset comment or changeset tags; don't add "source" to every imported object. Same for "source:date" - I assume that all objects imported in one changeset will share the same release date so better use a changeset tag. I am unconvinced of "ref:bag". Many people have imported external IDs thinking they might be useful some time, and they never were. How do you expect mappers to deal with that - if they merge two buildings or split a building, what are they expected to do with "ref:bag"? I don't understand "bag:function" - "This information is valuable and can later be used to manually attach the function to buildings." - who is going do do that later? If we have humans processing the data now, why not have them do that now, or else discard the tag because nobody is going to do it later.
