I don't want to warm up a discussion that has been put to death a long time ago so if this is an old matter that has been agreed on previously please let me know.
There have recently been a lot of canvec imports of questionable form - things like: http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=15/59.1513/-120.6918 http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=15/46.6300/-81.7412 http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=15/48.4327/-91.7441 It does not seem very useful to import data this way since maintaining it in the future would be a nightmare and rendering a decent map from it is not possible without significant processing either. Since there are other areas which do not have this kind of problem like http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=13/48.8713/-75.8603 i assume this is also not really the way a canvec import is meant to be done. -- Christoph Hormann http://www.imagico.de/ _______________________________________________ Imports mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/imports
