I have been having a lot of trouble building a distribution today. Some
things I have worked around, others I can't but here is what I have found.

This is using Rev 1.1 on a Mac with OS 9.2, lots of RAM.

- Quit Revolution completely and then restart without loading your stack
before building. Otherwise Revolution will quit with a type 2 error.

- Don't mess with the settings in the Distribution Builder: specifically,
don't change the name of the sub stacks folder, don't do anything with
profiles, don't change any resource settings. Changes to some or all of
these will give script errors during the build.

- at one point, the ask, answer and cursor stacks appeared with my stack in
the Application view. Delete these manually or the builder will give a
script error.

I also changed the background color of my stack which works fine in the IDE,
but disappears in the application.

As a matter of interest, I have 3 substacks which get copied into the data
folder of my application. They then get put in another sub-folder which
seems redundant. 2 of these stacks have the Rev file type & icon. The 3rd
stack has no icon and it's file type & creator are "MSTK" & "MCRD".

These problems only started happening when I changed to making a stack with
sub stacks as separate files. With a single application file, the
Distribution Builder worked perfectly.

Sorry to sound gloomy, but I have been having crashes every few minutes
today and it gets a bit depressing especially for someone used to
HyperCard's phenomenal stability.
