"open" does exist - usually used in the form of "go". It is used to open
stacks or cards.
"Open Driver" does not exist. Perhaps "open process" is what you are looking
for?

I can't recommend using idle for anything, it is obsolete and chews up the
processor when it doesn't need to. Much has been written on this subject,
including the current tip of the week on our web site :-)
