If you make a standalone including the database library, on the mac you get
a single file, an app which includes a code resource for the RevDB code. On
Windows, you get two files: an .exe, and a file "revdb.dll" which must
travel in the same folder as the .exe.

It would be much neater if the distribution builder could incorporate these
into a single file. I believe (but I'm ready to be corrected) that Windows
just like MacOS allows code fragments (ie DLLs) to be included in a file, so
I don't think there are any absolute technical reasons why this shouldn't be
possible; whether it would require low-level modifications to the files, or
relinking, I don't know (but presumably it would be possible to use an
external to accomplish this).

Could this in principle be done? If so, does anyone have an idea how
difficult it would be? It would make quite a difference to the 'polish' of
the solutions one can deliver using Revolution.
