I build multimedia titles for distribution on CD.  Rev works great for this
purpose but CDs are somewhat limited when you start including video.

What I would love to see is a set of commands that would allow me to point
to specific chapters on a DVD.

One of the issues facing educational units that want to project media rich
curriculum at a distance is the cost and variable quality of streaming
video. Burning video to DVD and accessing it through Rev apps would be a
very cost effective high performance solution.

The Rev App could be on any local mounted volume (HD or CD).  This would
really open the door for educational apps that need large video files.

Years ago Hypercard had a series of xcmds that allowed just this kind of
access to laserdisks.

Please give the creation of DVD commands some thought.
