David, I am nice! (And reasonably light.) And I am afraid that once again we've demonstrated that it is difficult to signal tone through email. The way you phrased your remark sounded an entertaining (to me!) echo of that phrase... it was supposed to be a joke. Sorry it didn't come across. I did not intend to misrepresent you - I didn't edit your message with that in mind, but merely to select the parts I wanted to take issue with. I'm aware that this list is much higher traffic than it used to be (and that I have a tendency to the prolix); I take some trouble to edit my posts down, including quotes.
