I figured that... I was just messing around. I wasn't really expecting it to work. I will have to install Windows 2000 Advanced Server later on.

You’re not doing ANYTHING wrong. The original poster is. That IP address is reserved for local-lan use, and is NOT an internet accessible address (in fact it is NOT the address he is using to access the internet). That address is being provided by an IP address sharing router or DHCP server. It is not possible to connect to it. He sees it because it is local on his lan, and simply doesn’t understand how it works. There are a number of ways to make it work, but I wouldn’t count on it happening.
