thank you for the info. It seems that every time a new virus comes out
with its own smtp engine I get thousands of emails from people on
dynamic IPs that are infected for weeks without even knowing it, so I
was hoping to slow this down. The ones that contain the code are not a
problem, I can stop those easily. But the other annoying ones just keep
coming. I wish the ISPs would do something about it. But maybe the
DNSBL for these dynamic IPs is not the answer.
thanks again

I got stuck on one of these lists,(and had a lot of
trouble getting off of it)!
It happened when I got new "STATIC" IPs. These IPs
were on the list,(I guess they were dynamic IPs at
sometime in the past), but it took almost 2 months
to get them removed from the lists.
Anotherwords, unlike most spam/relay lists, admins of
these dynamic lists do NOT maintain them in as quick
a fashion as you might expect/wish.
Just something to keep in mind....

Hi everyone,
this list is really quiet!
Is anyone using a DNS block list for dynamic IPs? Like
dynablock.njabl.org or one of the others. The spam from these known
dynamic IPs is really picking up over the last few months and I need to
start working on limiting it on a few servers.
thanks
ted
