Hi, Eric I have just installed AVP 2.3.1 and it is working great! Thank you!
So far, I have found only one little problem: the Blitz Test only works correctly if the Check MX option is unchecked, otherwise all 100 test messages sent by AVP will be trashed. Besides, I could not find the thread.cfg file in the mfilter folder (c:\install\mfilter). So, I presume SCSMFilter is using default values for minimum and maximum threads. Is it 1 for both? Regards, Guilherme PS: I tryied to reach Randy Brukardt these days for buying TF Pro, with no success. These are GREAT news for anyone using IMS. Thank you!!! I think this update addresses THE major bug of the software, since deleting twice a day those looping messages is a real PAIN! Is AVP 2.3.1 a stable version or a beta? Anyone has installed it? Regards, Guilherme Rudnitzki Sao Paulo, Brazil Zaxalon Webmaster wrote: Is this list alive? Well, heres my 2c: AVP 2.3.1 executable update only posted to http://www.zaxalon.com/avp.html Adds the following bogus domain check to AVP's new CheckMX functionality:- If MX RDNS of sender domain is 127.0.0.1, trash message. Beside catching spam, this eliminates a major mail looping bug in EMWAC IMS. Regards, -- Eric Helfgott This is the discussion list for the IMS Free email server software.
