Hi Siddharth, Looks like the mac is stuck on the gray screen or screen with apple icon and spinning gear
If the machine is not powering on,perform an smc and pram resert(No SMC reset with new macs). Do PRAM as mentioned in the article http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379 If the machine is stuck on the gray screen,boot to the install disc and perform disk verification by reaching to the disk utility. Try to boot now. Else boot to the install disc and perform a fresh install.The data will be safe and secure.
