Go to manual settings and give a static ip and the correct gateway of your router. When you are done with the settings turn airpoirt off and on it might work.
Though dont know how to spot the real tech issue it could solve your imm connection needs Vinodh Sent from my NOKIA E72-----Original message----- From: Swapna Eleswarapu Sent: 02/05/2012, 10:05 To: [email protected] Subject: [imug-users] Connecting to wi-fi Hi! I have a Macbook running OS 10.6.8, and I need to connect it to the wi-fi network here at my parents house. It is a BSNL broadband connection with a ZTE modem/router. My mac connects to the network, but is not able to connect to the Internet. The network has no security password, I'm using MAC filtering instead to prevent misuse. I believe it is an always-on connection. The main desktop runs Ubuntu. How can I solve this? (I seem to be having a similar issue with my new HTC One-V, which connects to the network but not to the Internet). Thanks for any answers.
